While the statistical, social, and matchmaking free features have been outlined by Activision since Elite was announced, the publisher still isn't quite ready to provide all the details on the paid aspects of the service. However, as Legend of Karl reveals below, it will include free DLC, custom events, and daily tournaments with real prizes (including a Jeep Wrangler).
Call of Duty: Elite is set to launch along Modern Warfare 3, which is now in development for Windows PCs, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. The game is set for release on November 8.
Sharkey says: So CoD Elite premium = free DLC and tournaments with snazzy prizes. For the Call of Duty fanatics out there, I suppose it makes sense. Why not compete to win something real? And if you were going to buy all the $15 map packs anyway, you might as well get a little something extra for your dollars with the premium sub. Still, is this enough for you to pay a monthly fee to play Call of Duty?
