Days after the shuttering of 3D Realms occurred, new leaked footage of Duke Nukem Forever surfaces.
It's been a sad couple of days for Duke Nukem developer 3D Realms. Last week, it was rumored and then confirmed that the long-standing PC shooter developer had been
shut down, throwing the likelihood of gamers ever seeing
Duke Nukem Forever materialize into something playable down the toilet.
A few days after the proverbial end of the company, 3D Realms'
Bryan Brewer apparently posted
some new leaked footage of Duke Nukem Forever to YouTube.

3D Realms' last group hug.
The question of whether or not Duke Nukem Forever will be somehow saved by a publisher with funding stepping in remains up in the air, but for now, this footage may be the last we see of the game.
Bryn says: Poor old Duke. Last week's episode has left rather a bitter taste in the mouths of fans of the series for sure. While the footage is a quite rough around the edges, it gives you a sense of what 3D Realms was going for...
It'd be great to think that Forever could be saved by someone stepping in and funding the rest of the project, but given the horrendous development cycle its already been through, that seems unlikely too me.
