A document presented by id Software's J.M.P. van Waveren at SIGGRAPH 09 reveals new Rage images.
The
36th SIGGRAPH conference is currently underway in New Orleans, Louisiana and has delivered a treat for id Software fans. As noted by
Shacknews, id Software's senior programmer J.M.P. van Waveren gave a presentation in which he discussed the company's virtual texturing process.
Included in the .pdf document were a number of new environmental screenshots which can be seen by clicking on the image below.

Frankie Says Rage Hard
The document is very heavy on the technical side of development, as you'd expect, but if you've got the chops, you can take a
look at it here.
Bryn says: Those images make a nice addition to our gallery for sure. With QuakeCon kicking off next Thursday at it's new location (the
Gaylord Texan, Grapevine, TX) I'm expecting to see a bunch more stuff arrive for
Rage.
Who's heading down to QuakeCon? Anyone?
