NBA star featured in id Software's latest commercial for the upcoming FPS.
NBA Rookie of the Year and car-jumping Slam Dunk Champion Blake Griffin wants in on id Software's upcoming first-person shooter, Rage. Whether the baller realizes it's an FPS or not remains to be seen, but he's willing to go to tiger-leaping lengths to get his likeness in the game.
The latest commercial for Rage, featuring an unlikely star in the L.A. Clippers power forward, is hilarious. See Griffin in action below:
Rage is being developed for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows PCs. The game is set to ship on September 13.
Sharkey says: Awesome. The tiger-jump dunk is waaay cooler than the Kia-jump dunk. And if you look closely, a very small "Do Not Attempt" appears in the corner of the screen as Griffin is dunking. Thanks, Bethesda. The next time I see a tiger on the court, I'll be sure not posterize it.
