From shotguns to RC car bombs to wing sticks (which the devs at id refer to as the "death boomerang"), there are enough weapons and gadgets in Rage to make it a thinking man's game. Then again, it also boasts the firepower that allows players to just kick open the door and start blasting. Get an overview of your arsenal below:
Rage is being developed for Windows PCs, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. The game is scheduled for launch on October 4.
Sharkey says: There were two big standouts for me when I went hands-on with Rage at E3: the incredible level of detail everywhere you look and the variety of gameplay options provided by the arsenal of weapons. There are tons of different ways to take out the bad guys and by providing fun choices, id enhances the level of immersion. Looking forward to seeing the ridiculous weapons they're keeping under wraps.
