One of the most unlikely "heroes" imaginable is set to get his own series of videogames, as we've received word that none other than Mr. T of "The A-Team" fame is to receive digital immortality thanks to publisher and developer ZootFly. A brief statement on the company's website says it all: "ZootFly to Develop a Mr. T Game."

In fact, it's going to be a series of games based on the Mohawk Media Mr. T graphic novel license. The information made available to us frankly beggars belief (in a truly awesome, train-wreck fashion). So err, it looks like Mr. T will be fighting Nazis...
The first game will see Mr. T take on Nazis and their gigantic machines in the varied universe of South American rain forests, lost ancient cities, industrial complexes and contemporary military installations.

Along with Mr. T and other characters from the graphic novel, the game will feature non other than Will Wright. In this universe, Will Wright is not a top-notch game designer but a top-notch American geneticist who was kidnapped and coerced to work on a diabolic plan. Mr. T and Will Wright will join forces to annihilate the Nazis and their hardware.
How did poor old Will Wright get roped into this? Whatever the case, ZootFly is going out on an extremely thin, precarious limb. The results could be disastrous, amazing, or disastrously amazing. PlayStation 3, Wii, Xbox 360 and PC have all been targeted for Mr. T insanity, so stay tuned.

Bryn says: I'm left physically reeling after reading this announcement. I've got a generally dry sense of humor, but this... well this has the potential to be the funniest crap I've ever played.

When I say potential, I'd realistically give Mr. T's upcoming game a minuscule chance of not being total crapola, but at least it's got a chance. What the heck do you think about this bizarre announcement?
